Safety in the Workplace

by admin on June 26, 2007

What is your company doing to promote safety in the workplace? I worked for a company that had a reward every day to keep safety in the forefront of their employees’ minds and actions. This company gave free fountain pop to all of is employees all year round. This stayed on with a sign reminding us to be safe at work. If, in the rare case, someone did have an incident the fountain was turned off for a week. Also, for every 90 days without an incident the company would buy all the employees a shirt or a mug or something else that was not very expensive to purchase but was greatly appreciated. If you are looking for something similar take a look at awarenessideas.com.

Many workers suffer an accident at work in their professional lifetime. Unfortunately some are unsure of their rights and if they have a claim for compensation. Unfortunately many people attempt frivolous law suits attempting to get money out of their employer, while genuinely injured people who are out of work stay quiet. People should know their rights they may be eligible for compensation to cover medical bills or time out of work. Also if someone has a personal injury and it isn’t their fault the deserve reparations and explanations!
