Some chemicals are toxic and inflammatory on their own and must be handled with gloves and protective clothing. Others become dangerous when mixed with other chemicals or subjected to water or air. Some are more than corrosive, and are explosive or combustible. When handling chemicals, be sure to know what the chemical is, what it’s effects are and how careful you must be.
