Computer Controlled machines may be damaged or disrupted with human interference

by admin on September 27, 2007

As machines become more complicated and the tasks that they perform become more precise, we often forget as mere mortals that it took a team of engineers thousands of hours to make those machines do what they do. In the case of some machines, a single process can be 100,000 lines of code and can require dozens if not hundred of moving parts.

Now imagine the impact on that system if an untrained person were to push an inappropriate button or disrupt this process. Not only will you have a quality process problem but a potentially dangerous safety problem as the machine’s integrity are compromised.

To illustrate this point, we have developed the SD006-03 Vinyl Safety Decal in 6″ x 4″ yellow and black vinyl. This high impact decal is perfect for any machine that is computer controller and can not be interfered with.
