If you work in a facility that has public access, restricting or limiting access is a priority.

by admin on September 25, 2007

Many of us work in facilities where the public and outside visitors often tour or have access to. This creates a liability for the company, as an outsider who has not had proper training as to what is required in certain areas could be more easily hurt. This will make insuring the facility very difficult if certain areas are not restricted from public access.

Beyond that, there are reasons to restrict labs, engineering stations and other confidential areas. The information and proprietary formulas, code and materials here would be valuable to a competing company, and thus restricting access to them makes logical sense.

We’ve create a two color 6″ x 4″ decal which can be used to denote areas of restriction or confidentiality. These decals are perfect for doorways, above doors, near entrances or in hallways where restricted access is mandatory.
